DEKRA's intrinsically safe explosion-proof seminar ended with great success

On December 6, 2024, DEKRA held an intrinsically safe explosion-proof construction seminar hosted by the Explosion Protection Division.
Thanks to everyone's support, the seminar was a great success, with 50 people attending, filling the planned capacity.
This seminar was aimed primarily at those engaged in the design and explosion safety certification of intrinsically safe explosion-proof equipment, as well as those considering obtaining certification in the future. It explained the amendments in the 7th edition (issued in 2023) of IEC 60079-11, the standard for intrinsically safe explosion-proof equipment.
During the seminar, we also explained the interpretation of the requirements of the standard and key points for design and certification, which was well received.
DEKRA plans to continue providing information on the certification of explosion-proof equipment through similar seminars in the future.
